FAQ: What should I expect at the Rooted Living Yoga & Wellness Retreat?

You can expect day(s) designed to nourish your body, calm your mind, and uplift your spirit in a beautiful, nature-rich setting. The retreat weaves together science-backed wellness practices with soul-centered experiences.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll enjoy:

  • Daily Yoga & Movement – Gentle yet powerful sessions led by experienced facilitators, blending yoga, breathwork, and somatic practices.

  • Mindfulness & Healing – Guided meditations, sound healing, and practices to calm the nervous system and deepen self-awareness.

  • Connection & Community – Circle gatherings, group activities, and space to share, laugh, and bond with like-minded women.

  • Nature & Stillness – Vineyard walks, time outdoors, and moments to simply pause, breathe, and be.

  • Farm-to-Table Nourishment – Fresh, wholesome meals prepared with care to fuel and support your wellbeing.

  • Creative Expression – Workshops and reflective practices that spark play, creativity, and self-discovery.

  • Relaxation & Ambiance – Sensory spaces, cozy lounges, and curated environments that invite rest, joy, and presence.

Above all, expect to leave feeling renewed, rooted, and inspired, carrying tools and memories that support you long after the retreat ends.

FAQ: What should I bring with me to the retreat?

Your comfort and ease are our priority. Since the retreat takes place in October, the weather can be crisp, so we recommend bringing layers for both indoor and outdoor activities. Here’s a helpful packing list:

  • Clothing:

    • Comfortable layers (sweaters, light jackets, scarves)

    • Yoga/fitness wear for movement sessions

    • Cozy socks and comfortable shoes (sneakers for walking, optional sandals/slippers for indoors)

    • A warmer coat or wrap for evenings outdoors

    • A cozy blanket for the bonfire 

    • Slippers or comfy slide on shoes

  • Wellness & Comfort Items:

    • Yoga mat (if you have one—extras will be available)

    • Reusable water bottle

    • Pen for reflections

    • Any personal items that make you feel at home (shawl, blanket, small pillow)

  • Optional:

    • Bathing suit for the Ourdooor Sauna

    • A favorite book for quiet time

    • A small offering or item for our group circle (optional but meaningful)

We’ll provide yoga props, nourishing meals, and everything you need for the sessions. Just bring yourself, an open heart, and anything that helps you feel comfortable and grounded.

Retreat Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can bring unexpected changes, and we want to be as fair and transparent as possible while also honoring the commitments we make to our venue, facilitators, and partners. Please review our policy below before securing your spot.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • 40+ days before retreat start date: Full refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit and processing fees.

  • 39–59 days before retreat start date: 50% refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • Less than 30 days before retreat start date: No refunds are available.

Transfers & Credits

  • You may transfer your ticket to another participant up to 7 days prior to the retreat at no extra cost.

  • In some cases, a credit for a future retreat may be offered at the organizer’s discretion.
